Discover the World of GHASSAN HAMDAN, MD
Dr. Ghassan Hamdan earned his degree in Pediatrics in 2002 from both the Jordanian Board of Pediatrics and the Arab Board of Pediatrics. He earned another board degree in pediatrics in 2013 from the American Board of Pediatrics. His training in the field of pediatrics is extensive in both worlds of pediatrics, the Eastern and Western. He also holds a degree in Pediatric Cardiology from Saudi Arabia and a subspecialty in Pediatric Echocardiography from the University of Alberta-Edmonton-Alberta-Canada and the University of Colorado-Denver-Colorado-USA. He has conducted and published his work in pediatric cardiology and echocardiography in several medical journals. Over the last decade, he switched his practice to general pediatrics with an emphasis on neurobehavioral medicine in children. His interest continued to be in both the generalist and the specialist pediatrics at the same time. His practice in his clinic is known for its comprehensive vision of the child’s health and parents’ education as one issue with several compartments. This attitude in medical practice continues to affirm and solidify good medicine as it should be in both worlds: developed and, more importantly, the underdeveloped, with poor resources.
